E-VISA

In March 2020, the new platform for electronic issuing of visas in Portugal began operating. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the E-VISA platform to simplify visa application procedures.

The new E-VISA platform simplifies visa applications and the sending of the necessary documents for the initiation of the application, which it is now possible to carry out electronically.

Applicants need to register on the platform through the address https://pedidodevistos.mne.pt/VistosOnline receiving a personal code that allows them to follow the online process, change their personal data, consult applications and attach documents.

We highlight the functionality of the platform that allows the Applicant to answer a questionnaire, determining the type of visa he needs and that best suits his situation, avoiding incorrect visa applications and long processes.

Currently the E-VISA portal can be viewed in five languages, Portuguese, English, French, Ukrainian and Russian.

The visa issuance process is divided into four stages: registered application, application under review, request granted or rejected and visa issued.

Castilho International Law Firm can clarify your doubts about the visa application process, indicating the documents you need to gather and accompanying you throughout the process.
